Neste Oil enhances product availability in the U.S. with packaged NEXBASE base oils

Neste Oil is enhancing its product availability by making repackaged NEXBASE Group III base oils available for customers in the U.S. This is the first time that NEXBASE base oils will be available for purchase in drums or totes in the U.S.

Univar Inc., a leading global chemical distributor of industrial and specialty chemicals and related chemistry services, will purchase NEXBASE base oils in bulk from Renkert Oil for repackaging in totes and drums for use in transportation, industrial and food grade lubricant applications by customers in all market segments. Renkert Oil, the authorized North American distributor for Neste Oil, will continue to provide NEXBASE base oils in bulk direct to customers.

With NEXBASE base oils repackaged in smaller quantities we can provide more flexibility to our customers who may be creating specialty or niche lubricants that require a more demanding base oil but just don’t need a full tank truck.", says Ed Potter, Sales Manager for Americas, Neste Oil.

NEXBASE base oils are top-tier base oils. The main applications are high-performance engine, driveline and industrial lubricants. NEXBASE base stocks have high oxidation stability, low evaporation, excellent low temperature fluidity and extremely low sulphur content, which make it ideally suited for applications demanding a high performing base stock. NEXBASE Group III base oils are produced in the Neste Oil’s refinery in Porvoo, Finland, and in Sitra, Bahrain.
