Every year, we visit educational institutions throughout Finland, and a lot of students visit our locations in turn. We make these visits to discuss matters such as career choices and opportunities that Neste can offer future talent. During these occasions, we aim to offer the students a view of future working life and its requirements. Furthermore, we open discussions about Neste and the career opportunities that await promising professionals in many different fields.
Our aim is to build long-term collaboration with educational establishments and student organizations, which includes course lectures, support for research work and increasing knowledge of chemistry among students and teachers alike.
You’ll also meet us at various student events and careers fairs every year. If you see us, come and talk to us. We’ll be happy to tell you more!
Career fairs are great way for us to connect with students and introduce them to Neste. The schedule for year 2019–2020 will be released in autumn 2019.
- 31.10.2019 Talent Expo (Otaniemi, Espoo)
- 16.12.2019 Aalto Chem (Otaniemi, Espoo)
- 28.1.2020 DuuniDay (Lappeenranta)
We offer tens of thesis work opportunities to students from several different disciplines annually. In many cases, these follow on from summer traineeships. Identifying a subject of interest both to Neste and students is a priority here. When planning your degree thesis, think about a subject that interests you before contacting us. Thesis places are awarded on the basis of the research plan.
We hope to see theses that show imaginative thinking and take new, fresh and innovative approaches to the topic. We also hope you will be able to show initiative and motivation in working on your thesis. In addition, every thesis must comply with the rules regarding scientific research methods and practices.
We wish you the best of luck with finishing your thesis!
