Fire at the Neste Oil Porvoo refinery during maintenance work

Production line 4 of the Neste Oil Porvoo refinery caught fire today at approximately 10:30am, during a planned maintenance outage. The fire caused no personal injuries nor danger to the immediate environment, but created a lot of smoke. The fire was extinguished within an hour.

Damages are currently being surveyed. The fire has no effect on the operations of the rest of the refinery, nor on product deliveries.
