ILKKA SALONEN APPOINTED NESTE OIL'S NEW CFO

Mr. Ilkka Salonen, M.Sc. Econ, age 43, has been appointed Neste Oil's new Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Neste Oil Executive Team. He will join Neste Oil on 1 February 2009 at the latest. Ilkka Salonen will take responsibility for corporate control and accounting, treasury, investor relations, corporate IT, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, corporate risk management and Neste Oil business services. He joins Neste Oil from Pohjola Bank, where he currently holds the position of CFO.

 

"His successful careers as a CFO and a financial analyst and his experience in developing corporate financial systems have equipped Ilkka well to take over the CFO position at Neste Oil. We very much welcome Ilkka to Neste Oil", said Mr. Jarmo Honkamaa, Deputy CEO of Neste Oil.
