Kari Kolsi appointed Vice President and Refinery Manager of Neste Oil's Porvoo refinery

M.Sc. (Engineering) Kari Kolsi (50) has been appointed Vice President and Refinery Manager of Neste Oil's Porvoo refinery in Finland. Mr. Kolsi will start in his new position on April 11th as his predecessor Mr. Miika Eerola takes on a new position outside Neste Oil. Mr. Kolsi reports to Ilkka Poranen, Neste Oil's Senior Vice President, Production and Logistics.

Mr. Kolsi has worked within the company since 1986, for example, as Production Manager at Porvoo refinery, Vice President, HR and EHS of the Oil Refining Business Area, as well as Vice President of Operational Management at Neste Oil headquarters in Espoo, Finland. For the last two years, Mr. Kolsi has worked as Vice President, Research and Technology at the company's Technology Center in Porvoo.

Juha Lehtonen appointed Acting Vice President, Research and Technology

As Kari Kolsi takes on the duties of Refinery Manager of Porvoo refinery, Dr. (Technology) Juha Lehtonen (42) has been appointed Neste Oil's Acting Vice President, Research and Technology. Like Kolsi, Lehtonen will start in his new position on April 11th. Dr. Lehtonen reports to Lars Peter Lindfors, Senior Vice President, Technology and Strategy.

Dr. Lehtonen has previously worked as Process Engineer in Neste Engineering Oy and as Senior R&D Associate and Research Manager in Perstorp Oy. Most recently Lehtonen has worked as R&D Manager within Neste Oil's Research and Technology unit in Porvoo. He has also been a member of Neste Oil's Research and Technology unit's Management Team since 2008.
