Press Release
26 May 2005 at 2:00 pm EET

A short-term maintenance shutdown will be held at crude distillation and naphta hydrotreater units of Neste Oil's Porvoo oil refinery. These units will be run down starting from Sunday 29 May 2005 and the maintenance work will last for little less than a week. The refinery is expected to be back in full operation on Sunday 5 June 2005. A damaged heat exchanger will be repaired during the shutdown.

The majority of the refinery’s units will be unaffected, although production of gasoline and diesel fuel is expected to drop by approximately 20-30% during the shutdown. The work will not impact product deliveries.

A scheduled five-week maintenance shutdown will be carried out at the Porvoo refinery in August and September.
