Neste rebrands its renewable diesel to Neste MY Renewable Diesel in North America

(PST) Neste rebrands its renewable diesel to Neste MY Renewable Diesel in North America Neste announced the rebranding of its Renewable Diesel fuel today in San Diego, California during its customer seminar and appreciation event. Neste replaces its "Neste Renewable Diesel" and earlier brand name "NEXBTL" with "Neste MY Renewable Diesel" brand name. Simultaneously, Neste also updates other names in the renewable product family to "Neste MY" brand names. Neste continues the use of NEXBTL name to identify its proprietary technology and process for production of Neste's renewable products. Neste launches Neste MY Renewable Diesel made 100% from waste and residues in Finland

(EET) Neste has launched a renewable diesel made entirely from waste and residues under the brand name Neste MY Renewable Diesel at select service stations in the Helsinki region today, 9 January 2017. The product enables up to 90% lower greenhouse gas emissions throughout the life cycle of the fuel compared to conventional fossil diesel. Neste Corporation News 30 November 2016 Neste has not bought crude palm oil from the mills that Amnesty report links to human rights violations and child labor Amnesty International has today published a report in which it refers to human rights violations in the palm oil industry. It specifically mentions palm oil producer and trader Wilmar in their report. Wilmar is one of Neste's many suppliers. Neste is not among the companies that Amnesty report links to human rights violations through their palm oil procurement. Neste Corporation Press Release 23 November 2016 at 11:45 pm (EET) Increasing Renewable Fuel Volumes included in US EPA's 2017 renewable volume final rule The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the US published the final ruling covering renewable fuel volume requirements for 2017 under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program on 23 November 2016. The final rule calls for further increases in the volumes requirements above those in proposed rule published on 18 May 2016 and includes an increased volume requirement for biomass-based diesel for 2018.
