Neste Jacobs achieves 2.4 million man-hours with zero accidents on projects for Borealis

Neste Jacobs has achieved record safety performance on its projects for Borealis in Finland in recent years. A milestone of 2.4 million man-hours without accidents on these projects over the last seven years was reached this summer, and the Total Recordable Injury Frequency (TRIF) for Borealis projects continues to be zero.

"This achievement is the outcome of many years of cooperation on safety with Borealis, and we are committed to continuing this work," says Jarmo Suominen, Managing Director of Neste Jacobs. Maintaining and developing high levels of safety and ensuring zero accidents are key targets for Neste Jacobs and calls for close cooperation with both clients and contractors.

Jari Salonen, Location Leader for Borealis Porvoo, is also very satisfied with the work that has been done on safety with Neste Jacobs. "Ensuring an accident-free workplace is a key goal for Borealis every day. Safety is always our number-one priority, and we very much appreciate the input that Neste Jacobs has given on many of our projects and their consistently systematic approach to safety."
