NEXBTL renewable diesel - a sustainable choice for boat owners
Boote, Europe's largest motor boat magazine, tested Neste's NEXBTL renewable diesel in boat use in the beginning of the 2015 season. An extensive test run carried out with two-engine motor yachts showed that 100% NEXBTL renewable diesel helps tackle many diesel-related challenges faced by boat owners:

smoke generation is significantly reduced,

the sound level measured in dB are about 2 dB lower,

fuel consumption is measurably lower in the partial loads area, and
-
Usual mal odour generated from conventional diesel fuel is not applicable at all.
Neste's NEXBTL renewable diesel is produced from 100% renewable and sustainable raw materials and does not contain any traditional biodiesel. NEXBTL renewable diesel does away with concerns over the so-called diesel pest, namely the risk of filter blockings from sediments and water accumulation in the tank, thereby increasing marine safety.
