Change in membership in Neste's Shareholders' Nomination Board

The following members were appointed on 12 September 2018 to the Shareholders' Nomination Board of Neste Corporation: The Chair, Senior Financial Counsellor Jarmo Väisänen of the Ownership Steering Department in the Prime Minister’s Office of Finland; President and CEO Jouko Pölönen of Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company; Deputy CEO Reima Rytsölä of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company and Matti Kähkönen, the Chair of Neste's Board of Directors.

Due to the retirement of Mr. Väisänen, Director General Kimmo Viertola of the Government Ownership Steering Department in the Prime Minister’s Office of Finland has been appointed as the Chair of the Shareholders' Nomination Board as of 16 May 2019.

The members of the Nomination Board are elected annually and their term of office ends when new members have been elected to replace them. The largest shareholders entitled to elect members to the Nomination Board are determined annually on the basis of the registered holdings as of the first weekday in September in accordance with the detailed rules included in the Charter for the Nomination Board.
