CDP

In 2026, Neste received a 'B' rating in the CDP’s Climate Change assessment, and a 'C' rating in the Forest and Water Security assessments. For years, CDP has recognized Neste for its actions to mitigate climate change. In 2025, CDP scored nearly 20,000 companies on their transparency on environmental issues and sustainability.

Corporate Knights’ Global 100 Index

Neste has been included in the Corporate Knights 2026 Global 100 index of the most sustainable companies in the world for the 19th consecutive time. Within the energy sector, Neste was again ranked #3.

Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices

Neste has been selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices for the 18th consecutive year. In 2024, we were included in both the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World and Dow Jones Best-in-Class Europe indices, placing Neste among the leading sustainable companies in the world. Read more.

In 2025, Neste has been awarded a Platinum EcoVadis Medal. This result places Neste among the top 1 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis. The EcoVadis ratings is a platform to assess corporate social responsibility and sustainable procurement.

FTSE4Good

Neste is a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, based on an independent assessment by FTSE Russell according to the FTSE4Good criteria. Created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.

Global Child Forum

Neste was recognized as a ‘Leader’ in Global Child Forum’s global children’s rights and business benchmark, The State of Children’s Rights and Business 2025. Read more.

ISS ESG Corporate Rating 

The ISS ESG Corporate Rating is a comprehensive assessment of a company's environmental, social, and governance performance. In 2024, Neste was rated as "Prime", meaning that Neste fulfills ISS ESG's demanding requirements regarding its sustainability performance in its sector.

MSCI ESG Rating Index

As of May 2025, Neste received an MSCI ESG Rating of AAA. MSCI ESG Ratings measure a company’s resilience to long-term, industry-specific sustainability risks using a rules-based methodology. MSCI analysts research and rate companies on a ‘AAA’ (leader) to ‘CCC’ (laggard) scale based on their exposure to and management of these risks relative to peers. Learn more about MSCI ESG ratings.

S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook

Neste is included in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2026 and is ranked as Sustainability Yearbook Member among the 15% of the industry’s top-performing companies.
