What is TA?
TA is an abbreviation of turnaround, meaning a scheduled maintenance at a refinery.
Why turnaround is needed?
Major turnaround is a remarkable investment securing safety, availability and competitiveness of the Neste refinery in Porvoo for the next operating cycle. While the refinery is being shut down, regulatory inspections, maintenance works and investments that cannot be done during normal operations are executed.
What is done in the turnaround?
In major turnaround, regulatory inspections, maintenance works and selected asset improvement initiatives are executed at the Neste refinery in Porvoo.
How much workforce is needed for turnaround?
Around 7,500 persons will participate to the turnaround works. Out of these, around 1,000 are Neste employees. Specialists of different fields, for example catalyst professionals, come across Europe.

How to complete online trainings?
All online trainings will be completed by using Kilpilahti L2O- training program or Google Meet tool.
Kilpilahti L2O- training program
Every company has it own, individual link to Kilpilahti L2O training programme. Contractor can copy the link to the training program from their Sedatus profile and deliver it to the employee.
As an employer contractor is responsible to deliver the link to the employees. Through the link employees are able to login to the online training program.
When logging in for the first time, employee must create a user account to the Kilpilahti L2O online training program. Employee uses the same account details when login in to the training program in the future.
