Redefining how the world moves

The world needs to keep moving, with reduced emissions.

Neste's renewable solutions are available today

2026 is here. Energy transition is no longer optional. If you’re aiming to reduce your reliance on fossil fuels to reach ambitious climate targets—and wish to empower your customers to do the same—our drop-in renewable fuels are available now. At scale.

Compatible with your current fleet and existing fueling infrastructures, Neste’s sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel provide the verifiable emission reductions needed today.

How we can fuel change together

  • Companies: Make the switch from fossil to renewable fuels today and contribute to the energy transition.

  • Consumers: Reduce your own carbon footprint by choosing lower-climate-impact solutions.

  • Policymakers: Advance targets for renewable fuels and strengthen enabling conditions for frontrunners in Europe and elsewhere.

Reduce your reliance on fossil fuels today

Neat, i.e. unblended, Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel fulfills the mandatory sustainability criteria, including greenhouse gas emission reduction requirements over its life cycle compared to fossil fuel in accordance with e.g. ReFuelEU, CORSIA or RFS. While SAF and fossil jet fuel release similar amounts of CO2 during flight, SAF’s life cycle climate impact is smaller than fossil jet fuel’s. SAF can currently be blended up to 50% with conventional jet fuel.

** Neste MY Renewable Diesel sold in the EU is an HVO fuel fulfilling the EU RED sustainability criteria, including the requirement to provide at least a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions over its life cycle compared to fossil fuel.

Increasing capacity for tomorrow

We patented our NEXBTL refining technology in the 1990s, and have been growing our renewables production capacity over the decades. Today, Neste is a forerunner and the world's leading producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), with a current total annual production capacity at 5.5 million tons, including the ability to produce 1.5 million tons of SAF annually.

Our SAF production capability will further grow to 2.2 million tons per annum once the expansion of Neste’s Rotterdam refinery is completed in 2027.
